Fabulous antique Neoclassical brass chandelier with original hand-cut shades, dating from the early 1900s. This fixture begins in a brass canopy with foliate trim, moving down in chain to a decorative loop finial. Below, four chains extend down from a leafy bowl, each supporting a curved chandelier arm that attaches to a bowl-shaped base. The intricately detailed arms feature bellflowers and foliage; each arm holds a brass fitter with a decorative crown of X's. Inside each fitter rests an original hand-cut glass shade with a gorgeous star and flower pattern. This chandelier is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The fixture has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. It measures 20" wide, 31" tall, and 46" overall.
