A splendid antique Gothic revival lantern, suitable for either interior or exterior use, and dating from the early 1900s. This pendant light begins with a hexagonal canopy, descending in a chain to a trefoil loop finial atop a sloping roof. The six panels of the lantern are separated by vertical bands with speared points at the top. The body features original textured granite glass and a horizontal band across the panels. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The lantern body is 8-1/2†wide and 12†tall, and the fixture is 31†long overall.
