Marvelous antique semi-flush mount Neoclassical pendant light, dating from the early 1900s. This iron and brass light fixture begins in a decorative foliate canopy, moving down to a banded body. The scrolled vertical bands feature floral rosettes and torches. Above the single light is a roof with an underside of flower and foliate embellishments; this pattern is also repeated underneath the body. A leaf candle cup envelops the light, and the fixture finishes in a decorative scrolling finial. This lantern pendant is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures approximately 9" wide and 18-1/4" tall.
