Two matching antique two arm Spanish Revival sconces, dating from the 1920s and signed by their maker, Chapman Lighting Studios. Each iron sconce is crowned by a harp with foliate details; below is a backplate with fluting, ribbon swag, and a center rosette. Projecting from the middle of this flower is a shield plate that extends out on both sides to become two sconce arms. Each arm supports a lotus leaf bobeche while scrolling foliate vinework balloons up to surround each light. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired. The sconces measure 9-1/2” wide, 12-3/4” tall, and project 3-1/2” from the wall.
