A wonderful antique five-light semi-flush mount chandelier, dating from the 1920’s and retaining its original polychrome finish. The chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented with a rope border and an inverted heart pattern. Below, the chandelier features a cascade of leaves and flowers, with bobeches ornamented with anthemia and polychrome egg-and-dart detail. The chandelier finishes at the bottom in a foliate medallion with a dangling finial. This semi-flush light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The light fixture measures 20†wide and approx. 22-1/2†long.
