The first half page engraving is titled, "Rebel Troops Arriving at And Departing From Martinsburg, Virginia." It is a street scene with troops and civilians. A departing train has several soldiers standing on top of a car with a Rebel flag. A mounted officer and four horses pulling a caisson are in the foreground. A large Rebel flag flies in the center of the scene. The second half page engraving is titled, "Leesburg Bridge, on The Potomac, Below Harpers Ferry, Lately Held by The Virginians." It is initaled, "GP." It shows the covered bridge, the river and troops. Civil War
