A Rare Chinese Export underglaze-blue Porcelain Fox Hunting Bowl, Circa 1770 The bowl is decorated in underglaze blue and white with a naively depicted hunt scene. ;The Chinese painters not understanding the animals which were intended to be shown depict the hounds as spotted goats and the fox larger than the hounds. ;On the reverse side is a typical depiction of a small Chinese village with mountains in the background. Hairline to rim. Diameter: 9 1/4 inches
