Large blue bowl by Royal Doulton in their Titanian porcelain. Eggshell thin, slightly mottled blue glaze. Fantastic china, it is so very fine, thin and light, it feels like a synthetic material, but is really bone china. Circa 1920s-30s. Bowl measures 27 cm diameter and 10.5 cm high (10.1/2 inches by 4 inches). It has been professionally restored - hard to see what the original damage was, but it appears to have three lines - across the bowl down either end, and one across the middle. In other words, probably broken into three pieces and professionally restored and repainted. Selling on consignment.
