Victorian, circa 1870 Staffordshire money box modeled as a russet and white spaniel''s head. Dull gilt collar and locket. Coin slot to back of head. Painted mark to underside. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. Some rubbing to gilt. Kiln effects: a few craze lines; kiln detritus to top of head. Retouching to eyes, nose/muzzle and markings. 5ins high
