Victorian, circa 1870 Small George Jones Majolica oval dish. Mottled green, brown and ochre center surrounded by turquoise fence like ground. Double bamboo border bound together with brown rope around the rim. Mottled green, brown and ochre reverse with GJ monogram and painted pattern number ''2222 0'' in reserve inside the foot. Possibly the base for a multi-piece item. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Slight wear to interior. Kiln effects: shrinkage crack and a few pieces of kiln detritus inside the foot; small firing pit to the bamboo border. 6.75ins wide
