Original, OOAK Ceramic Masterpiece by Listed Artist Leah Balsham. It was done in 1935 and is signed and dated in the clay on reverse side.
Interested metallic (raku?) finish and overall design is in the Egyptian Revival style.
Measures @ 14 inches tall-
Balsham was a noted WPA Woman artist who taught at the Chicago Arts Institute and helped found several Art organizations!
