Victorian, circa 1890 Pair Kent Staffordshire figures modeled as a boy and girl, each stood in front of a bashful looking donkey. Both figures are holding a crop. Legs molded free. Oval bases. Bright gilt base line and decoration. Decorated all round. Two vent holes to reverse and another to underside. Boy: Tiny flake to tip of donkey''s right ear. Restoration to donkey''s tail. Retouching to the donkey''s muzzle, bridle, saddle strap and the ground.
