Victorian, circa 1870 Brown Westhead Moore & Co Majolica pitcher in the form of a barrel with hops and barley growing from the branch molded handle. Brown, cobalt, green and ochre exterior glazes with ochre rim. Turquoise interior. Stilt marks, impressed ''1'' and painted ''64 5'' to underside. Attributed to Brown Westhead Moore & Co. Good. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Slight wear to exterior. Kiln effect: some brown glaze run to the front. Repair to spout. 6.75ins high
