Circa 1880 Chinese Export Rose Medallion Jardineer/Planter measuring 8 1/2" in height and 10 1/4" in full top diameter. The diameter of the opening is 8 1/4". These are also referred to as cache pots in the Schiffer Book on Chinese Export Porcelain on pages 110-111. Chinese Export jardineers,cache pots,planters are very popular in this day and age. They could be used inside preferbly but also used on a froint porch or patio. This one does not have a drain hole as some do, but works very well the way it is.
