This is a pattern of Mottahedeh that we have not seen before apparently we don't know as much about chinese export porcelain as we thought. It is a reproduction of a Chinese Export Service that was made in the chien lung dynasty C.1750-1760. This platter was part of a complete dinner service that the heirs sold us the platter and a shrimp dish. The 18th century Dinner set is in the Dallas Museum of Art and is a part of THE WENDY & EMORY REEVES COLLECTION. The reproduction was sold out of the Dallas Museum Gift Shop as are many pieces of Mottahedeh Tobacco Leaf we have bought have come out of the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art Gift Shop. The dimensions of this wonderfull shaped platter is 16 1/2" X 14 1/2".
