Roseville Pottery, Blackberry Double Handled Vase, Nice - For Sale

Roseville Pottery, Blackberry Double Handled Vase, Nice
Price: $675.00
For sale I have a Lovely Art Pottery Vase made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Vase is done in one of Roseville's most sought after patterns called "Blackberry". The Vase stands 6 1/4" Tall and is 5 1/2" in diameter and has 2 small C shaped handles at the top. This pattern displays a band of Blackberries hanging from heavy vines and leaves. The leaves are light green and Yellow and sit against a light Green/Brown background that turns to a darker green around the rim.

The Vase becomes heavy with leaves and Grapes from the Rim to the waist. From the Waist to the Bottom the Green Brown textured glaze depicts a natural background. The piece is unsigned but you can see the Shadow of the Roseville Triangular Label and a number 2 in Blue Ink or Grease Pencil on the bottom. The Roseville Catalog Shows this is form number 572-6".

The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no issues to report. Those of you who collect Blackberry know this Vase is one of the more desirable to acquire. This Piece of Roseville was made Circa 1932 in the Height of the Great Depression.

If you looking for an excellent example of this form, look no further! I'm sure the lucky winner will not be disappointed with their purchase.
