History Of Dryden Pottery: After World War ll, A.
James Dryden returned to his home in Kansas. He
then started up his own business from scratch, he
built the Dryden Pottery in Ellsworth Kansas. For
about 10yrs. he worked alone, creating some
fabulous art pottery pieces. In 1956, he moved his
store to Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas.
Helping produce some of the great pottery pieces
from this point on, his son and grandsons, and
other artisan pottery makers. Dryden pottery is still
producing pottery today. Changing his line from
Moldware to one of a kind wheel thrown pottery
originals.
