Victorian antiqiue green glass perfume bottle in it''s original fitted sterling silver case. Made Birmingham, England, 1900 - 1901. Case is 2 3/4 inches high and weighs approx 32grams. Highly ornate repousse silver case with a reserve both front and back for engraving a name (not used). Hinged domed lid with round thumbpiece. Case is also hinged front and back. Inside of case is gilded. There is a loop on the neck for attaching as a pendant / chatelaine. Case has hallmarks on each part, including maker''s mark C&N; anchor for Birmingham, lion passant for sterling standard and date letter ''a'' for 1900 - 1901. Case is in good condition bar a small ding on the reserve in front. The case contains a beautiful emerald green glass perfume bottle with original stopper.
