Exquisite Austrian hallmarked sterling silver gilt wash interior green enamel compact or vanity box. The box is beautifully engraved on the bottom .The top has a lovely medium to light green enamel cover. The interior is marked JA 305 made in Austria Sterling 935 and stamped AST. There is an unengraved cartouche on the top where one could engrave their name or initials. Excellent condition. Diameter 2-1/4 inches, height 3/8 inch. Weight 54.4 grams. (Item #56927)
