So very pleased to offer you this set of 11 knife rests bearing the revered name of Froment Meurice. And what a lovey set of knife rests this is! Exquisite mascarons of a woman's head with elaborate halo and bib. These rests have three connecting bars; all the other sets I have are connected with just one bar. The result is a fairly hefty 45 gram weight each. Condition is good. There are chiefly light signs of use and age comprised of some roughness to the surfaces. Some very slight deformation of some of the connecting bars. Each rest bears the tete sanglier .800 silver guarantee and the name "Froment Meurice" across one of the bars. I cannot find the lozenge shaped maker's mark. These pieces may have been retailed by Maison Froment Meurice inasmuch as I have been unable to find the maker's punch.
