Beautiful mint condition movement Illinois open faced gold filled pendant or pocket watch. The serial number 2972546 indicates this watch was made between 1916-1917. We have just had this watch cleaned and serviced by our expert watch maker. It is in excellent condition, runs great, and keeps good time. The movement is inscribed Illinois Springfield Watch Co 17 Jewels with a movement serial number 2972546. The watch has a small ding on the back case mentioned for the sake of accuracy. The back of the case is worn. The watch has Roman numerals and a subsidiary second hand. Weight 61.2 grams. It measures 2-1/2 inches from the bottom of the watch to the top of the watch loop.
