Beautiful antique Art Deco 18k white gold ring set with 16 round diamonds averaging I color and VS-2 clarity. The diamonds are 5 points each. In the center is a rounded triangular shaped amethyst measuring 5 carats. The amethyst has a gorgeous color. It has a scratch and some minor inclusions only seen with a bright light and strong magnification. The cut and shape of this amethyst is unique. It gives off a beautiful purple radiating hue of color when it catches the light. The custom made antique Art Deco setting has the amethyst raised above the ring shank to let color and light in to further enhance the beauty of the stone. From the bottom of the ring shank to the top of the amethyst it measures 1-1/8 inches. Diameter at top 5/8 inch. Ring size 3-1/4 may be sized to fit any finger. Weight 5.8 grams.
