Superb Art Deco starfish design 18k gold and 80 diamonds flower shaped brooch clip. The brooch clip weighs 29.4 grams, just shy of 1 ounce. It has 80 diamonds, all I color VS-2 clarity. Combined diamond weight approximately 4+ carats. There is a border of diamonds along each edge of the five pointed rays. The center has a circle of diamonds with a 3/4 inch diameter. The brooch has a diameter of 2-1/2 inches. This was a recent estate purchase. The last owner paid $8,500.00 for this piece. It is a unique brooch that may also be worn as a pendant necklace by adding a chain. The workmanship and quality are spectacular. This is one of the prettiest and most unusual brooches you will see.
