A high-karat gold bracelet with gold-backed garnets and quartz, circa 1820. This is a wonderful example of early jewellery, and it is particularly important because it is in excellent condition. Five cabochon, circular garnets are set in a braided gold setting. Between the garnets are six faceted foil-backed quarts, one of which is the clasp.
