Victorian Agate Shield Ring Circa. 1880 British. 9K rose gold, tested with 9K acid. Agate stone, bezel set. 5 Hallmarks. Originally worn by a man. Can be also worn by a lady. Size 9 Can be easily sized by a jeweler. Shield measures 3/4 inch high an 1/2 inch wide. Agate appears to be grayish blue in color, back is brown. Agate tested with refractive index liquid.
