Pair of Black Opal and Diamond Half-Hoop Earrings Circa. 1975 American. Half-hoops with post earrings. The most incredible peacock opals. Also 20 fine white full-cut channel-set diamonds with total approximate weight of .60 carats. Black opals tested with refractive index liquid. All diamonds tested with a diamond tester. All set in 14K yellow gold. Gold tested with 14K acid. The earrings are 3/8 inch wide. Each half-hoop is 1 3/8 inches long. Both are in pristine condition. The colors of the black opals are sublime! 12.2 gr. 7.8 dwt.
