18ct yellow gold and platinum ring mounted with 12 small diamonds clustered around an oval solid opal . The opal has good colours of green, pink and red fire. Stones are set into platinum, with scalloped edge and platinum stepped shoulders leading into an 18ct yellow gold bevelled band. Face of ring measures 10 mm by 7 mm, with the gold band being 2 mm wide. Very dainty pretty ring, probably dating from 1930s to 50s. Very good condition, all stones present with only minor surface and age wear. Ring size is English L (USA size 5.1/2) with an internal diameter of 16.10 mm.
