Beautiful 18k gold brooch, mounted with 7 rubies. The gold is made of many fine petal shapes, curling back from the centre of the brooch to form a domed cushion, with the centre of the flower set with rubies in a cluster design. Very good detailing work to the petals, with feathering and cutwork. Weight is 14 grams. Brooch measures 24 mm diameter (1.5/16 inch). Excellent condition. Stamped at rear with carat purity.
