Pretty solitaire ring, made in 9 ct gold and mounted with a blue stone. Stone is a very aqua colour, and may be an aquamarine or blue topaz. However, as it is hallmarked for 9ct, this ring would probably be a little early for the topaz - it gives a reading on a gem tester, so it is certainly not glass or crystal. Reads both sides, so not a doublet. Previous owner says sapphire, but it is not really the right colour. The face of the ring measures 7 mm diameter (1/4 inch). Ring size is English N (USA size 6.1/2) with an internal diameter of 16.92 mm. Very good condition. Priced for the uncertainty. 2.55g.
