Vintage 9ct gold opal and amethyst ring, hallmarked for Birmingham (England) 1978. Very attractive detailing to the sides of the mount. Three white opals with green, aqua and red fire, and two oval faceted amethysts. Very pretty combination. Face of ring measures 7 mm by 20 mm (5/16 inch by 3/4 inch). The opals are solid opals, not doublets or triplets. Ring fitting is English size P (USA size 7.1/2) with an internal diameter of 17.75 mm. Excellent condition. Maker's mark is P & RB. Total ring weight is 3.15 grams. Shipping is by Air Courier.
