Not sure what the stone is here - cabochon, purplish-pink colour, somewhat crystaline, most likely to be a ruby zoisite. Face of ring measures 11 mm by 9.5 mm (7/16 inch by 3/8 inch). Shape detailing to shoulders, shank stamped 10K for 10 carat gold. Ring fitting is English size P (USA size 7.1/2) with an internal diameter of 17.75 mm. Possibly dates late 20th century. Very good condition.
