Pretty yellow and green Welo opal (Ethiopian opal) mounted in 9ct white gold with three tiny accent white sapphires on each side of the opal. Hallmarked 375 (which is 9ct gold), the maker's stamp of R & C, and Birmingham, England mark of the anchor. No date letter. Face of the ring measures 8 mm by 10 mm (5/16 inch by 3/8 inch). Ring fitting is English size M (USA size 6) with an internal diameter of 16.51 mm. Excellent condition. The opal is a solid opal, and shoots colours of yellow, orange, green and aqua.
