Antique, late Georgian bangle. Gold on silver, set with fabulous colourful gemstones. Made 19th century, circa 1830. This is a large sized bangle - measures 2 5/8inches accross. Central amethyst is approx 1/2 inch (13mm) long. Exquisite bangle made of 9ct gold with silver top, set around the upper half with moonstones, emeralds, diamonds and a central Siberian amethyst. Rows of cabochon moonstones, doubling towards the center. Lead, on either side, to a pair of beautiful emeralds. Directly alongside the emeralds on the other side are a pair of diamonds (a pair on each side of the bracelet - 4 in all). A ring is formed partially by the diamonds, completed by more moonstones. Within the ring is a large oval amethyst of a wonderful, deep violet colour. The contrast in colour between the bright green of the emeralds, the bright purple of the amethyst and the soft cabochon, milky blue/opaline moonstones is stunning to say the least. Gleams wonderfully. Few jewels have the presence of this bangle. The large size might have been made for a large lady, but it could also have been made to fit further up the arm, as was fashionable during the early 19th century. Condition is very good.   « Less

Estate drop earrings: green amethysts, rose cut diamonds set in 18k yellow gold. Fairly recently made - post 1990. Earrings approx 1 3/16 inch long. Weigh 7 grams. Amethysts weigh approx 10 carats. Marvellous antique - style drop / dangle earrings. The sparkling stones are modern with many facets, showing off their splendid pale blue-green colour. Set in plain gold colettes. Joined to each other by links and a flower-like arrangement of 3 rose-cuts on each earring, giving a very Victorian feel and enabling the earrings to swing freely as the wearer moves. Rare colour looks fabulous with all complexions and design suits every occasion from gala ball to jeans. Good, original condition.   « Less

Vintage, estate ring. PLatinum, set with 2 carats of emeralds and at least one carat of diamonds. Made circa 1960's. Weighs 7.8 grams. US size 6.75. Classic crossover ring from the 1960's. A row of gently graded, emerald cut diamonds, extremely finely set, lead to an emerald terminal. Cross an identical line of diamonds and emeralds so that the emeralds are placed at the corners of one another. The best materials were used and workmanship is very good. Diamonds have a great sparkle. Hallmark in the shank is slightly worn, but the letters PLAT for platinum are clearly visible. Good, original condition.   « Less

Lovely pink tinge to the gold. Classic Retro strong & bold design, finely executed. Stunning look. Secure clasp. Hallmarked on clasp with maker's mark and 18K. Generally good condition .
