This Handmade, Thick, Sterling Silver Bar Pin with Bloodstone was made by the Art Metal Studios before the name was changed, when it was called Chicago Art Silver Shop around 1918 in Chicago, Illinois. The Art Metal Studios was started by Hungarian Born Edmund Boker and Ernest Gould in 1912; Boker did the designing while Gould executed the designs. The Pin has the following impressed marks: Sterling, Hand-Made, SAS. The Pin measures 3/16" x 2 1/16" height x length. The SAS mark was used from ca. 1918-1934, for Silver Art Studios.
