Set with an assortment of darkened paste, peridots, pink sapphires, pink zircon and replacement rhinestones. While not perfect as far as all of the original paste stones, all of the major stones such as the peridots and pink zircons are bezel set and intact.Most of the gold is gone. The pin is stamped with a capital A and is missing one tiny rhinestone. There is a large hook on the back which indicates that it might have been part of a tiara or necklace.The pin back has the old fashioned C clasp and there is also a lift up round connector that swivels and would probably lock into place with it''s original mated portion. This is a beautifully made piece of antique jewelry. It is a beautiful gift item, very in style and timely today as seen in the current October Harper''s Bazaar Magazine on page 359.
