Antique Webb cased Peachblow glass jam jar with silver plated mounts, spoon and raised gold decoration. Made in England from 1880''s. Measures 4 inches to top of jar, excluding lid; 4 3/4 to top of lid; 5 3/4 inches to top of handle; spoon is 5 1/4 inches long. Beautiful bright pink cased over cream, with glossy finish. The surface is decorated in rich gold with raised detail to flowers. The jar is set in a silver plate mount with fine gadrooned border and matching swing handle and lid. A beautiful silver plate spoon completes the set. It has an elongated, Art Nouveau, elegant look with delicate raised decoration. Like all peachblow, t are no factory marks. The lid is marked YEOMAN PLATE E.P.N.S. Made in England. The spoon is marked with an engraved star and heart and ROGERS SMITH & CO A1. Good condition. No chips/cracks/damage/restoration of any sort.
