This item has been SOLD. A very nice quality, antique Shandugan Barong with a Cockatoo hilt of banati wood and a long silver punto or collar. The leaf shaped blade is single edged and in very good condition. The tail of the cockatoo does seem to have either a crack or an old repair, The scabbard is original. It has several cracks in the face and the hemp style wrapping appears to be a replacement by some former owner. From a Portland Oregon estate. Early 20th C.
