Fulper Pottery, Cats Eye Flambe Double Handled Fan Vase - For Sale

Fulper Pottery, Cats Eye Flambe Double Handled Fan Vase
Price: $225.00
For Auction I have a very beautiful Vase made by The Fulper Pottery Company of Flemington, NJ. The Vase is called a Double Handled Fan Vase and it is done in one of Fulper Pottery's most sought after Glazes known as Cats Eye Flambe. The Vase stands 6" tall and is 5 3/4" wide top measurement. The Vase depicts a Rich Caramel Glaze that is accented with Deep Brown Flambe Glaze Runs spilling over the top edge and down it side. The Vase look almost good enough to eat. The Fan shaped Vessel is accented with 2 Handles that Rise up from the Oval Foot on each end and Connects to the lower part of the Vessel. The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. There is the smallest glaze pop along the bottom edge and can only be seen when turned upside down. The Vase is marked on the underside bottom with Fulper's Racetrack Ink Stamp Signature mark. This would date this Vase to be made Circa 1922-1928. This is not a real common form to find especially in this condition with such a Great Glaze. The shape is so rare that it isn't even listed in the Fulper Book by John Hibel and Robert DeFalco. I'm sure the winner will not be disappointed.
