Antique Tabriz Persia, early 20th century A fine, soft blue radial trellis of vines and palmettes on a delicate salmon ground spreads out from the center of this elegant Tabriz, with only the hint of a central medallion. The variegated coloration of th ground suggests depth and openness, along with the liberal spacing of the vines. The blue ground border offers a nice contrast and chromatic closure for the dominant salmon tones of the field.
