A wonderful antique five-light Tudor chandelier in cast iron, circa 1930. The chandelier begins with a hammered canopy, coming down in a chain to a loop finial. A five pronged bowl sits below the finial and attaches to the five chains which support the chandelier body. The ring-shaped, cast iron chandelier body features a hammered texture and an underside ornamented with abstracted foliate designs. Five arms extend from the chandelier body and support hammered candle cups. On the underside of the chandelier, volute details converge to meet a central medallion composed of trefoils, an abstract finial suspends below. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18-3/8" wide and 20" tall, and the fixture is 29-1/4" long overall.
