Madame Alexander 1962 Lissy Katie & Tommy Dolls for the 100th Anniversary of F.A.O Schwarz
MINT in BOX
Valued at: $1750
Description:
Made only during the 100th Anniversary of FAO Schwarz, 1962 Katie and Tommy represent children from the store's beginnings. Both straight limb Lissy-mold dolls are mint in their correct boxes: Katie in #1240, Tommy in #1241. Both dolls include small wooden rocking horses in the corner of each box. These two dolls have been stored in their boxes and never played with or displayed. Their faces are perfect, and Katie's brunette and Tommy's blonde wigs appear to be untouched. Both costumes have the embroidered "Madame Alexander" tags, and are mint and complete. Boxes are intact and in very good condition (you'll notice some age darkening which is expected) and the labels are in excellent condition. Rare to find this pair in such pristine condition! However, due to items age, dolls are being sold as is.
