Original 19th c. W. Morris Painting on and in Wood Frame - the painting is painted on the wood interior of the frame. The frame is gilt and painted gold. The painting is signed W. Morris tiny bit of wear on the painting and the wood of the frame is very good some patina.
19th c. Painting of Lake House sail boat and mountainous scene signed "W. Morris" (William Morris Hunt Mass. 1824-1879) in bottom Left corner. Painting 6 3/4" x 4 3/4". The frame 9 5/8 x 7 3/8 the painting back is held together with tiny nails but costumed prepared as one piece by the artist. It is a very unique peice.
