1st Half of the 20th Century
Dating to the Early Republic Period (1911 - 1949) this seemingly single section boxwood figural group is carved to show eighteen immortals amongst mythical beasts in a bamboo grove. Presented on a dark coffee hue root stand, this impressive carving exhibits amazing detail. Measuring 20 inches tall, it stands at 30 inches tall including the root wood stand.
