Underwood Stereoscope. Silver; brown. Wood; metal; g;ass. The viewer has a folding carved wooden handle,engraved metal viewer with two lenses and velvet edging and a sliding wooden card holder. The handle mechcanism is marked, "Pat. June 14, 1881." The bottom of the viewer is marked, " Manufactured by Underwood & Underwood, New York, Patented June 11 1991. Foreign Patent Applied For." The top of the viewer is embossed with and reads Sun Sculpture Trade Mark with U&U in the center.
