Hardy Fishing Line Winder. A collapsable Hardy fishing line winder made of oak with metal fittings. Line winders were an important tool in the days of silk line when one had to take the line off the reel for drying. It still has its use today for transferring the fishing line from one reel to another. The oak base is 12 inches by 4 inches and stands 10 inches tall open,and 2 1/4 inches when closed.
