Rare Turn of the Century Hans Kotschka German Harp Guitar! #GG456
From the music warehouse of Hans Kotschka in Aussig (formerly in Bohemia, now Czech Republic and sight of the famous battle) comes this rare circa 1900 harp guitar.
A beautifully made string instrument that is in need restoration or awesome display as is.
Overall wear with a split/separation on the back seam, see photo. Necks are very good. Bridge is a replacement and held in place by 2 wood pegs for display, photo available. Original bridge had turned up ends. If you are handy you can carve another from the outline on the guitar, photo available. One loose inner support that is out and included. Original, nicely carved wood string nut, not shown in photos is also included. I just forgot to put it in place for the pics. Overall length is 42”, lower bout width is 14 ¼”.
Nice wall hanger or major winter project!
Sold as is.
