This is a descriptive picture of two young ladies with a letter. They are sitting in a garden and you can use your imagination to determine where and who the letter is from. A dear friend, a young man, a loved mother. From the looks on the ladies faces, I would venture to say........ I personally love this picture. The clothes, the setting, the style of the ladies and the garden so very Victorian. However, the frame is gesso and some of the gesso is missing. It would be a great picture, if you wanted an antique look and were not overly fussie about the condition or willing to have it repaired.
