Lovely, Carved, FRENCH PROVINCIAL Reproduction Deutsch Bros. Settee. French Provincial is considered to be one of the most beautiful furniture in the world. This piece exemplifies that point in all its glory. Art form carvings frame this piece with intricate design and style. It is possibly hand carved with piercing throughout, but not certain. The rich wood carvings are believed to be made of pecan or cherry wood. The many embellishments flow into the sides, arm and feet of this gorgeous piece. This settee has 5 legs, 2 arms and brass tacks encasing the fabric. The fabric is brocatelle and it has a diamond tufted back. This settee is signed “Custom built Deutsch Bros 1965”.

CONDITION:
The fabric appears to be the original brocatelle that is worn, torn in several places and needs to be re-upholstered. See the photo below, however; this settee would be well worth reupholstering. The frame itself is in excellent condition; solid and sturdy, along with the legs and the back of the settee. The Wood carvings are in beautiful shape. They just don't make them like this anymore. A piece of art with a solid frame that will enhance any space with unique style.

MEASUREMENTS: 53" long x 29" wide x 32" tall. Seat depth is 21". Floor to seat is 18".
