circa: 1960 width: 37 height: 33.5 length: 20 This antique style bachelors chest was crafted in England around 1960 for use in the British RAF. Most likely decommissioned around 1970, this chest underwent a recent restoration at the hands of a small English cabinetmaker. During the restoration, new mahogany and satinwood veneers were added to the top and drawer fronts, as were brass swan neck pulls and the distressed base. The result is a beautiful antique style chest redolent of the classical Georgian combination of beauty and function. The sides remain as they were originally, so they do show a few wear marks here and there. Overall condition remains excellent, however, as this chest is very sturdy and would make a fine addition to any home.
