Like all of our English reproduction furniture, this oval dining table is crafted using the finest in labor and furniture-making techniques, among them being the elaborate process of actually finishing the solid cherry, which involves spokeshaving, distressing, staining and polishing the wood to produce a rich, lustrous appearance that cannot be obtained in cheap imitation furniture. Moreover, optional satinwood, rosewood, yew wood, or mahogany crossbanding provides an incredibly satisfying complement to the principle wood. The legs, which can be customized as turned, square or twist, are jointed by a stretcher for added structural support, while the shaped apron that joins them to the table top also looks quite elegant. Clearly, this English oval dining table exhibits the finest quality available to the furniture-making world, and would make a fine addition to any home furniture collection!
